Well, it’s 11:45 PM and in 15 minutes, it’s the end of Father’s Day 2011. I received my fair share of Father’s Day greetings even if I’m not technically a dad yet. I have to admit that I was pretty happy to receive these greetings. I can’t help but think that with the next Father’s Day celebration, I’ll already be technically a dad. Unfortunately, my daughter won’t be able to greet me by then just yet. But her smiles will be more than enough!
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads and the soon to be dads! This is our day and I hope you enjoyed it! However, there’s no reason for us to stop celebrating fatherhood. After all, fatherhood is a non-stop job and this is a job that’s worth celebrating everyday. But still, it’s good that we set aside a day each year to celebrate fatherhood.
I’d also like to take this chance to thank my Dad. He’s my idol when it comes to parenting. Happy Father’s Day to the best dad in the world! That’s the title that I’ll soon get from him once Reese comes to this world. 🙂
